Irises: The Grand Ladies of the Garden
A hillside of irises, the “Grand Ladies of the Garden,” will greet visitors with vibrant colors all during the month of May. There are over 1000 varieties in the garden, plus hundreds of day lilies, blooming shrubs and trees.
Iris Gardens Dates and Times
May 2023 – Peak bloom is anticipated to be the first two weeks in May
The Month of May – Our iris gardens are open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., every day except Saturdays when we are closed for weddings.
There is no charge for visiting the garden, and dogs on leashes are welcome. Call for peak bloom information or to schedule a garden tour for your group.
Individual irises are for sale on site, as many varieties are available in pots. If the irises you select are not available in pots, your order will be dug from July to September 1. Your order can then be picked up or shipped direct to you for an additional fee.
In the future, irises may be ordered online from an online catalog, but that feature is not currently available.
