Irises: The Grand Ladies of the Garden
A hillside of irises, the “Grand Ladies of the Garden,” will greet visitors with vibrant colors all during the month of May. There are over 1000 varieties in the garden, plus hundreds of day lilies, blooming shrubs and trees.
Iris Gardens Dates and Times
May 2024 – Peak bloom is anticipated to be the first two weeks in May
CLOSURE NOTICE: Our iris garden and grounds will be closed to the public (except for reserved events) for the 2024 bloom season effective TUESDAY, May 28th. That means your last day to visit is Monday, May 27th between 9:30 and 4:30.
We want to thank all of you who visited our garden this spring, and now we “sit and wait” for next year’s bloom.
There is no charge for visiting the garden, and dogs on leashes are welcome. Call for peak bloom information or to schedule a garden tour for your group.
Individual irises are for sale on site, as many varieties are available in pots. If the irises you select are not available in pots, your order will be dug from July to September 1. Your order can then be picked up or shipped direct to you for an additional fee.
In the future, irises may be ordered online from an online catalog, but that feature is not currently available.
